Cheyenne and Arapaho Health Department

The overall mission of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Department of Health is to enhance health and wellness of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and Native American communities by providing compassionate, comprehensive, and holistic approaches to healthcare through advocacy, education and awareness. The Cheyenne and Arapaho Department of Health provides health programs designed to assist tribal members to achieve and maintain a higher level of health status. Some of these programs provide direct services for health care, as well as prevention education. Health and wellness programs are important components of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Department of Health.

These programs are designed to address serious medical issues faced by the Cheyenne and Arapaho people, who live with physical and mental health concerns. Each individual program within the Department of Health focuses on positive changes in health practices for tribal members resulting in a more positive health status. The Department of Health continues to develop programmatic goals and objectives for the unique and special cultural needs of tribal members.

Cheyenne and Arapaho Education Department

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Department of Education (CADOE) strives to address the educational and cultural needs of tribal members of all ages. CADOE was built on the premise of developing and incorporating educational curriculum that integrate Cheyenne and Arapaho culture ways with academics and providing a diversity of programs the serve tribal members of all age groups.

CADOE provides educational assistance, support, and encouragement to help tribal members to achieve their educational goals to help build a bright future. CADOE offers programs geared to help students at any age in the educational pursuits, and in some cases, services are extended to members of other tribes who reside in the tribal jurisdiction. CADOE program services are designed to help prepare the tribal member for employment opportunities that result in long-term careers and increase the quality of life for the tribal member and their families.

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Museum Foundation is tasked with preservation of our traditional way of life for future generations.
